My name is Mrs. Nicolle Shay and I come to the Chrisman School District for my 5th year of teaching.  This year I will be teaching K-12 Physical Education and High School Health.  Along with teaching I will also be coaching Jr. High girls’ basketball. I was born and raised in the small community of La Place, IL and graduated from Cerro Gordo High School in 2004. After high school I attended Eastern Illinois University where I graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and Sports Studies and a double minor in Health and Driver Education. I began my teaching career in Riverton, IL where I taught high school health and driver education.  After a year of teaching in Riverton I got married and moved to Marshall, IL where I spent the last 3 years teaching Jr. High girls P.E. along with coaching basketball and track. This past summer my husband and I welcomed our first child, a little boy, named Brogan.  I couldn’t be more excited to start this new chapter of my life and career within the Chrisman School District.
